Cherly’s salon was more than just a salon! It was where my love for Bruno Mars ( and your mums love for him too) bought two familys and friends together!. I told her as she sat having her nails done i was going to see him that night. She said “ wish i could go!” So i said “ get tickets and come with us .. ill take you!”.. we grew ever closer. She didnt go with us but our friendship grew in the salon.
As time went on she drove me to my first date with Alec Wallace. She sat in her car and we were like two school girls giggling and waiting to see which direction he would come from, what he was wearing and what his van looked like! Well long story short he was already sat waiting. Then almost two years later she was the one who drove me to our wedding. She played the role of big Sister number two and a mum like role too in many ways. 
I loved the way your mum told stories. I will miss going to see her and still being there three hours later because she just had so many of them and she would always make you so welcome you didnt want to leave!
